GrainTrac users:
- Reversing settlements- The
difference between reversing the same day that it was written,
compared to reversing when the settlement is from a previous day: If
you reverse the same day it was written- It will adjust the
EOD check register. It will say Manual Void and marks the
tickets released so you can settle again. If you reverse a
settlement from a previous day- It will adjust the EOD check
register and shows negative bushels and negative dollars. It
automatically prints a report of all the tickets and states you
will find these tickets in holdings and they can be updated in DOS
ticket entry.
- To Change Storage Charges-
On tickets that you are pricing out today, change them before you
price them out. Otherwise you'd have to hold tickets and
start a new day before you could change storage charges.
- End of Day report spooler-
Let your hard drive be the file cabinet to store your spooled
reports, that way you can view reports on your screen or even
print the reports later. This will save paper and time!

Hardware quesions:
- Lost network connection- The
first thing to try is to simply restart machine. If that does not
work you will need to check the network cable that is plugged into
your network cable. There should be a green light on the the
network card and on your switch. If there are lights on both
we recommend that you have all users close out of any network
applications and then unplug the switch for 20 seconds.
- There has been a power outage and my
machine will not reboot- Try unplugging your machine
from the battery backup and plugging it into the wall socket. If
your computer is already plugged into the wall, unplug from the
wall then plug back in, and try and power your machine on.
If this works you will need to power off you battery backup and
reset it. If your computer doesn't turn on after all this call VSI.
